Koichi Kawana : ウィキペディア英語版 | Koichi Kawana Koichi Kawana (Japanese: 川名孝一, born March 16, 1930 in Hokkaido – 1990) was a native garden designer, college professor, and architect. He graduated from Yokohama Municipal University in 1951 and got a US citizenship in 1971.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.jgarden.org/biographies.asp?ID=118 )〕 Kawana became a college professor and lecturer for 24 years at UCLA on Japanese art, environmental design, and Japanese landscape/architecture.
